My Approach.

If you know me as a friend, you probably think that I have far too many interests and hobbies.

I believe this curiosity and tendency to immerse myself in a variety of activities enables me to capture images through a truly empathetic lens. When you hire a professional photographer, you’re paying for their creative direction, their attention to detail, their eye for composition, and their ability to anticipate and capture moments of action and emotional expression. But most importantly, you need someone to fully understand your vision for the assignment and deliver the images that align. Whether it be music, athletics, product, or people, I’m in your shoes, and I’m capturing images that bring your story to the world from your perspective.

Lastly and most importantly, I’m a follower of Jesus Christ. It is my hope that my life ultimately points you to Him.

The Backstory.

I wasn’t always a full-time photographer.

After receiving an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2020, I worked as a mechanical engineer at a consumer product development consultancy for 3 years.

Bringing physical products to life will always have a special place in my heart. However, capturing memories, documenting stories, and amplifying the work of others through photography currently has the stronger pull.

For me it’s about people, the collaboration involved with capturing images well, and the desire to cultivate an observant eye in this world. There’s so much good to be found around us on a daily basis, and it’s a hope of mine that my images help bring that to life.
